Tony’s Democrat Donors
Tony Brockman is running as a “Republican” yet Democrat donors are funneling in thousands of dollars to his campaign. Looking at Brockman’s first finance report of this year it is striking that 40% of his money raised came from Democratic donors (At least $6,000 out of a total $16,600 raised). On top of that, Tony’s donors have given at least a whopping $8,060 (~50% of the total money he raised in Q1) to other Democrats in Montana running THIS YEAR! Democrats who Brockman’s donors have given to include: Joe Biden, Ryan Busse, Jon Tester, and far-left LGBTQ legislator SJ Howell.
Let’s go through a few examples.
SUSAN BROWN
Susan Brown is a former English teacher. She gave Joe Biden over $500 to defeat President Trump last year. Over the past 6 years she’s given out over $4000 to Democrat candidates, which aside from Joe Biden includes: Jon Tester, Monica Tranel, & Kathleen Williams. She also supported Brockman with hundreds of dollars.
DUSTIN LEFTRIDGE:
Dustin Leftridge is an environmental lawyer who sits on the board of the MT Trial lawyers association. He has given $2000 to far-left, anti-gun, Democrat candidate for governor Ryan Busse, the SAME YEAR he has paid Tony $100s of dollars. He also supported abortionist Ingrid Gustafson for MT State Supreme Court back in 2022.
NATE MCCONNELL
Nate McConnell is a former Democrat State Senator from Missoula. He’s given Democrats Jon Tester & Ryan Busse over $1000 each in the past year, and has even given $100 to far-left LGBTQ legislator SJ Howell who voted against legislation that would stop kids from getting transgender mutilation surgery (SB99). All while giving “Republican” Tony Brockman hundreds of dollars.
JINNIFER MARIMAN
Jinnifer Mariman is another environmental lawyer. She is also a liberal school board trustee for District 5. She gave Monica Tranel $1500 last year, Ryan Busse $1000 this year, and gave the max donation to so-called conservative, Tony Brockman.
Why would these crazy progressives be giving to Tony Brockman if he really was the conservative candidate in the race? The answer is that he isn’t. He refused to give a straightforward answer when asked if he’d support making gender identity a protected class (https://dailyinterlake.com/news/2024/apr/28/brockman-schubert-spar-at-candidate-forum/), he voted to defend the far-left judges responsible for striking down laws that protect children from trans mutilation surgery (HB464) and he even introduced a bill that would force Flathead County, using your property tax dollars, to pay an unelected organization he is a board member of [FCEDA] (HB530).
We cannot allow Democrat donors to buy Montana’s House District 8 REPUBLICAN primary and get their preferred candidate (Tony Brockman). Please consider donating to support the real Christian conservative candidate in the race, Lukas Schubert, to send the message to liberal Democrat donors that Montana’s Republican primaries are NOT for sale!
